Teacher - for all age groups

Are you passionate about education and creating a meaningful environment in which children can learn and grow?We are hiring Teachers to join our fantastic Global Children Service team!

We are looking for a  passionate and enthusiastic natural-born leader, who loves working with children.The successful candidate will be responsible for the children’s academic, emotional and social development and growth. They will be able to plan, coordinate and implement the curriculum, develop meaningful connections with parents, and inspire the next generation. 

Requirements

• Ability to develop activities that are fun and educational for young children

• Ability to instruct young children in rules of conduct and learning new tasks

• Ability to select the appropriate teaching method and adapt to children's learning styles

• Ability to effectively communicate with students & parents

• Patience and compassion for the young children in our care

• Proficient active listening skills to understand and adapt to the various needs of children and parents

• Pass a Background CheckCPR & First Aid certified

• Complete a tuberculosis test and physical and provide physician documentation of both

• Possess a strong work ethic, be punctual and have minimal absences

• Have an awareness of the unique needs of young children and have appropriate expectations of their abilities

• Are able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children up to 70lbs

• Are available for full-time employment

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Establish and enforce rules of behavior for children in the classrooms

• Provide basic needs for children

• Provide tools and resources for children to use and explore during learning and play activities

• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the interests and learning styles of different children

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents

• Maintain a professional self-image at all times

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED and 4 years work experience or Child Development Associate (CDA)/Child care Certificate and 2 years work experience

We are looking for Full-Time Teachers at our Uptown Campus

Cook

Are you passionate about providing nutritional, tasty meals to children? We are hiring a Cook to join our fantastic Global Children Service team!

We are looking for a self-motivated, kind, and passionate cook with a genuine interest in the well-being of children.

Requirements:

• Cooks must be able to work in a cooperative manner• In possession of basic mathematical skills

• Must be able to accomplish accurate recordkeeping

• Cooks must be able to work safely around stoves and chemicals while having the physical endurance to spend many hours standing, walking and lifting heavy objects

As a Cook, your responsibilities and duties include (but are not limited to):

• Menu development and the preparation of nutritious meals and snacks for all students

• Cooks must be able to provide substitute meals for children with special dietary requirements

• Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in both the kitchen and storage areas

• Ovens, pantries and refrigerators, need to be sanitized at regularly scheduled intervals

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age• In possession of a high school diploma or its equivalent

• 1 year of experience in meal planning & preparation

• Knowledge of early-childhood nutrition & experience working with groups of children

• May be required to undergo criminal background, TB skin tests

Assistant Teacher

Are you passionate about education and creating a nurturing environment in which children can learn and grow?

We are hiring an Assistant Teacher to join our fantastic Global Children Service team! We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and caring team player who loves working with children.

The successful candidate will be able to support our lead teachers, prepare the classroom and learning materials, as well as encourage and inspire children. They will be responsible for assisting teachers throughout the day, including covering breaks and lunch and supervising activities.

Requirements:

• Must be above 18 years of age

• Pass a Background CheckCPR and First Aid certified

• Complete a tuberculosis test and physical and provide physician documentation of both

• Possess a strong work ethic, be punctual and have minimal absences

• Have an awareness of the unique needs of young children and have appropriate expectations of their abilities

• Are able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children up to 70lbs

•  Are available for full-time employment

As an Assistant Teacher, your responsibilities and duties include (but are not limited to):

• Engage children in activities and play that stimulate their development

• Appropriately supervise children while keeping them safe at all times

• Assist children with activities of daily life

• Approach parents daily and speak with them about child(ren)

• Help facilitate daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for preschool

• Creating and maintaining an environment that is clean organized and safe for all children

• Attend and engage in occasional parent participation events and other events that may be on nights and or weekends

• Assist with the completion of daily sheets and daily activities pertaining to eating, sleep & diaper change

• Communicate with the lead teacher regarding all aspects of the children's care as well as classroom management

• Maintain a professional self-image at all times

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED

• At least 1 year of experience working with children
